Pictured above is the new Chinese 5G satellite. Its name means Milky Way and the Chinese says, “Gaze up at the starry sky, but keep your feet firmly planted on solid ground”. Very Chinese! Imagine being in the middle of the Saharan Desert, Amazon jungle or on the North Pole, and getting fast, cheap internet and phone service. China’s GalaxySpace CEO Xu Ming predicts their service installation costs could be 1% of land based stations. Wow!
